The long-running saga of Carson Yeung's interest in English Birmingham City should be settled by next month.
Yeung, who bought a 29.9 percent stake in the club for GBP 15 million in late June, has got on Friday thr shreholers blessing to proceed with the takeover through the Hong-Kong based company Grand-top International.
Yeung now faces a race against time to raise the funds and lodge his GBP 35 million bid before the December 20 deadline.
City managing director Karren Brady has been infuriated by claims that the club delayed Yeung's proposed buy-out. "We have done everything we can to speed up the process and are outraged by these suggestions," Brady told the Mirror. "To suggest we have not acted professionally and have delayed matters is libellous."
