After being ridiculed in the press by English Arsenal chair Peter Hill-Wood, U.S. billionaire Stan Kroenke is unimpressed by Hill-Wood's personal attacks.
With Kroenke trying to but into the club, Hill Wood said the club did not "need his money and don't need his sort. He knows sweet FA about our football."
Kroenke has increased his share amount to 12.19 percent. The attack on him by Hill-Wood is not expected to harm the marketing deal between Arsenal and Kroenke's MLS Colorado Rapids.
David Dein, whose support for the Kroenke bid led to his exit as vice-chairman, holds a 14.6 percent stake. Little more than three percent is needed between the two, for the possible launch of a stronger takeover bid.
