WILDE TO INCREASE STAKES IN SOUTHAMPTON

Property developer Michael Wilde originally acquired rights from directors Brian Hunt and Keith Wiseman to buy an addition 1.561 million shares of the Championship club, which would his total interests in the club to 16.52 percent.

Later, Wilde increased those numbers. Wilde ended up acquiring 2.016 million shares, equivalent to a share of 7.18 percent. Combined with his previous holdings, Wilde now has control over 18.29 percent of the club.
