Chairman Kevin McCabe has bumped his holding in English Sheffield United to 74.7 percent of the club.
McCabe bought more than 18 million-plus shares priced at 10p apiece. Interestingly enough, the news came right after fellow director Mick Dudley announced he intended to sell his 14 million shares at 10p apiece.
McCabe now has approximately 208 million shares in the club.
That comes right after the club released its interim March results. Sheffield United blamed a decrease in television revenues after relegation from the Premier League for a fall in turnover to GBP 17.1 million. That was a loss of GBP 8.8 million from the same period a year ago.
