Rupert Lowe wants back in at Southampton.
The former club chairman is making an effort to re-take power at the club. He has remained a shareholder at the club, and is said to be ready to join with Michael Wilde, the person who succeeded Lowe as chair after pushing Lowe aside.
Wilde resigned in Feb. 2007, but remains Southampton's biggest individual shareholder.
Now, he has rejoined with Lowe and the two are looking at supplanting current chairman Leon Crouch.
Southampton confirmed to the stock exchange that Lowe had been in touch with the current board.
