Derby County in takeover talks with Disney

English Derby County chairman Adam Pearson confirmed he is in talks with a U.S.-based group about a possible takeover. Pearson would not reveal whether the various news reports were correct that he is talking with Roy Disney's Shamrock Holdings, or whether it is the Walt Disney Company.
Roy Disney is the nephew of Disney Co. founder Walt, and son of Walt's brother Roy, who also set up the company.
Pearson said there are six interested parties. He also said Shamrock is one of them, but did not confirm Disney as one of the people he has spoken to about a possible sale.
