Belgravia keen to takeover Newcastle

According to the BBC, the Jersey based Belgravia Group said it is still in talks with the Premier League regarding the takeover of English Newcastle United, but has not received an official offer.
"Talks are continuing with Newcastle United and we are keen to do a deal," a Belgravia spokesman told BBC Sport.
It has been reported that club chairman Freddy Shepherd wants to take sole control of the club.
Newcastle United is third from the bottom in the Premier League after winning two league matches this season.
