No change in Berardo Benfica offer

Businessman Joe Berardo has not changed his offer for Portuguese Benfica, leaving it at EUR 3.5 a share for 85 percent of the club.
The report cited a spokesperson for stock market regulator CMVM as saying the offer was not different from Berardo's previous one.
Just 1.74 pct of Benfica's share capital had changed hands since July 30, when the offer opened. Berardo's offer for Benfica closes on Friday, with the results due to be announced on August 20.
