LUKOIL increases boardroom influence at Spartak Moscow

The Russian oil company has increased its influence in Premier Liga club by placing two more of its representatives on the board of directors of the club. Igor Sherkunov, chairman of ZAO Investitsionnaya Gruppa Kapital (Capital Investment Group) and Sergei Mikhailov, general director of OOO Management-Consulting, have joined fellow LUKOIL member vice-president Leonid Fedun and vice-president Alexander Matytsyn in the club’s administration. LUKOIL is the club’s main sponsor and shareholder through its investment vehicle Capital Group.
