Ray Ranson and SISU Capital are so close to the full-takeover threshold at English Coventry City that Ranson is making plans for when they can hit 90 percent.
Ninety percent would give SISU full control of the club. The group is at 88 percent right now.
"I am very pleased with the progress that we have made in the process of transferring shares and we are only 2 percent short of the percentage that we need," Ranson said to the club's website. "I am confident of reaching the 90 percent threshold within the next couple of weeks."
Ranson added that new boards would be established once the threshold is met.
SISU took over the club Dec. 2007, saving it from administration.
