Seattle will finally get MLS club announcement

The long-anticipated official announcement that the MLS is heading to Seattle, Wash. Likely will occur the first week of December, possibly coinciding with a Dec. 4 news conference held by the city's second-tier club.

The Northwest city currently has a second-tier league club, with the Seattle Sounders, which will play at Qwest Field in 2009.
