Iranian-born businessman Kia Joorabchian, 35, is reported to be interested in buying English Fulham. He had recently put in a bid to buy English West Ham United but that club was bought by Eggert Magnússon's Icelandic consortium last November.
A source close to Fulham chairman Mohamed Al Fayed disclosed that the club could be sold for about GBP 80 million according to a Times report.
"Fulham is not for sale," a spokesman for Al Fayed said, "Why would Mr. Al Fayed want to sell the club when it is doing so well? "
It is said Joorabchian likes the way Chris Coleman manages the club, so even if there were a takeover, he is not likely to lose his job.
