More than 400 professional players left seeking new clubs

According to the Scottish Football Players Union, many of the players who were released by their clubs due to the clubs financial crises, will be forced to leave professional game and will find themselves unable to find alternative employment. “The drop is now from the Scottish Premier League down to the second or third English divisions which can offer longer contracts for much higher fees”, said the Union’s assistant secretary Fraser Wishart.
